Camilla Ohl, Office Manager. Camilla was born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in Houston, Texas. She married Geoff Ohl from Wisconsin twenty years ago, and they are the proud parents of two children. Camilla graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor
of science degree in Biology, minors in both math and psychology. Her interests away from the office include traveling to new and interesting places, movies, music, sharing laughter and fun with family and friends. She has worked in the dental field for twelve years and is a member of The American Association of Dental office managers and The national Association of Professional women .
Donald Ferrer, RDA. Donald is twenty-nine years old and has been an assistant for ten years. He loves to work with people of all kinds, especially kids. Donald is certified in sealant placement, radiology, and nitrous oxide monitoring.
Jennifer Hays, RDH Jennifer was born and raised in Cypress, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University prior to graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. She worked as a hygiene assistant prior to her hygiene education and has been part of the dental field for six years. She enjoys watching movies, going to the beach and spending time with her family, friends and puppy.
Jaime Lyn, RDH. Jaime was born in Michigan where she obtained her registered dental hygiene degree. She worked as a dental assistant prior to her education in hygiene and has been a part of the dental field for 9 years. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. She enjoys the beach, boating, cooking, movies and spending time with family and friends. Jaime is happy to be a part of the Sandalwood team and living in Houston!
Mindy Padron, RDA. Mindy was born in Houston , Tx and studied dental assisting at the Texas School of Business. She has been in the dental field for six years. She enjoys spending time with her four children along with family, friends and her church. She loves interacting with the patients and working with the great staff here at Sandalwood.
Vanessa Pineda, RDA. Vanessa was born in Houston, Texas and graduated from Elsik High School before attending the Texas School of Business for Dental assistants. Her interests include community service and spending time with family and friends. She has been in the dental field for seven years and is certified in radiology.
Jessica Vaughn, RDA. Jessica was born and raised here in Houston , TX . She received her dental assisting certification in 2001 from the National Institute of Technology and joined our practice in January of 2010. Jessica serves as a floating assistant as well as our front desk receptionist. Her hobbies include, but are not limited to, spending time with her four beautiful children, going to church and singing in the choir. When she's not working she likes to spend time with family and friends. She loves what she does here at Sandalwood and looks forward to meeting each and everyone of you!
Dr. Matthew Strepka D.D.S. Dr. Strepka graduated from Baylor University prior to entering dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Dr. Strepka is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and serves as a board member for the Houston Academy of General Dentistry-- an organization focused on a lifelong commitment to continuing education in dentistry. He is married to Dr. Judy Chang-Strepka, and they are the proud owners of two fantastic dogs, Lilly and Tobey. His interests include sports, automobiles, music and dentistry.
Dr. Ross Romero D.D.S. Dr. Romero graduated from Texas A&M University prior to entering dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. His interests include sports, computers, music, literature, and dentistry.
Dr. Roy Bloom D.D.S. Dr. Bloom graduated from University of Texas Pan America and attended an Oral Surgery fellowship at Parkland hospital in Dallas. Currently he lives in Spring, Texas with his wife Trisha and 7 children (4 boys and three girls ages 9 to 22), 5 dogs, a cat, and a hampster. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, athletics, reading and all things surgical, electronic and mechanical.
